As part of the Oscars campaign for 20 Days in Mariupol, Razom for Ukraine and Frontline PBS partnered to create a streamlined process for students, faculty, and administrators to screen the film on their campuses. Over the course of a semester, 50 colleges and universities screened the film across 23 states, with an average audience of 48 attendees per screening. 60% of screenings were student-led, with the other 40% being organized by faculty or administrators on campus.
University of Minnesota Spotlight | The screening, organized by Fulbright student Roman, afforded Artem—a 17 year-old survivor featured in the film and undergoing rehabilitation in Minnesota at the time—the opportunity to speak to a crowd of 150+ alongside a member of the Academy Award committee for the Documentary section, the Consul General of Canada, and local community leaders.
